Our Glow Run Fundraiser is happening now! Our students will be running on March 13 during their specials time! This fundraiser gets us our supplies for the end of the school year . This includes school supplies, dojo cart prizes and other items that help us make it to the end of the year! Thank you so much for your help! We are SO EXCITED!!!!! We were blessed with a HUGE surprise today! The Stanley family donated a 3D Printer to our library to be used by our students! We can't wait to see what are students create! Thank you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!💕

Dear Families and Community Members,

We are excited to invite parents, guardians, and community professionals to participate in our upcoming Mittelstadt Elementary Career Day on Wednesday, May 20!

Career Day is a special opportunity for our students to explore a wide variety of careers and begin imagining their own futures. By hearing real stories from people in our school community, students gain inspiration, confidence, and a broader understanding of the many paths available to them.

We welcome volunteers from all career fields, including (but not limited to): education, healthcare, business, trades, arts, technology, public service, entrepreneurship, military, and more. All careers and life paths are valued and appreciated. We are especially committed to ensuring our students see a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, identities, abilities, and lived experiences represented. Research shows that when children see professionals who reflect their own communities and those whose paths may differ from their own, they expand their sense of what is possible. We encourage participation from individuals of diverse racial, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, first-generation college graduates, skilled trades professionals, entrepreneurs, veterans, and those who have taken nontraditional career paths. Every story matters, and representation creates access.

What participation looks like:

Volunteers will speak to small groups of students
Presentations are approximately (15–20 minutes)
You may share what you do, how you got there, what a typical day looks like, and why your work matters to you
Visuals, props, uniforms, or hands-on items are welcome but not required

Open House Tonight at 5:30 pm! We can hardly wait to see you! Come see the cool things your children are doing in the classroom! If you need a snack , we have that available in the cafeteria for a small donation. The Spring Book Fair is open tonight too.

Families come see the great things that your students are doing in the classroom! We have Open House this Thursday, February 19th, from 5:30-6:30 pm. It is a come and go. There will be pizza, drinks and snacks in the cafeteria if you need a quick snack for a friendly donation to help support 5th Grade Appreciation. The Book Fair will be open for parents to shop with their children from 5:30-7:00 pm. Can hardly wait to see everyone!

Our Glow arum Spring Fundraiser is coming and you can do your part today! Please consider how you can make a differ- ence by donating to Mittelstadt Elementary on success fund. Every contribution helps us provide learning supplies, and behavioral and academic in- centives for our school.

Just a friendly reminder! There will be an important 5th grade parent meeting in the library this coming Wednesday, February 18 from 6:00-7:00 pm in the library. Parents may enter through the cafeteria! If you are unable to attend please reach out to your child's teacher and they can connect you to the right people with the information!

Tomorrow is the last day to order Glow Run T-Shirts! They are only $15 and you can send cash or pay online in School Cash! Glow Run is so fun!

We are excited to share that we will be starting weekly multiplication fact tests to help students build speed, accuracy, and confidence with their facts. Students will be competing alongside grades 3, 4, and 5, and we will be focusing on classroom growth as we track progress over time. To support this at home, we will be sending multiplication flash cards home for students to practice their facts each night. Just a few minutes of daily practice will make a big difference! Thank you so much for partnering with us to support your child’s math success!

We have a new date for the Big Kahuna Bus Ride! On February 4th, for the students who qualify, Prek-2nd grade will ride at 11:30 am. Students in grade 3-5 will ride the bus at 12:00 pm. I
